SumaqMed is centrally located in Zurich’s Seefeld district, just a few steps from the Zurich Opera House. The Opernhaus tram stop is right nearby. Zurich Stadelhofen station and Bellevue are a few minutes’ walk away. If you arrive by car, the Opéra and Feldegg car parks are close by.
With many years of clinical experience in General Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine, Mercedes Martínez-Pfirrmann, MD, leads the SumaqMed medical practice in Zurich.
Raised in Peru, her educational journey took her through the United Kingdom and Germany to Switzerland. After completing the International Baccalaureate in the United Kingdom, she studied medicine at Heidelberg University and subsequently worked as a physician for many years in Germany and Switzerland. This international background has shaped her both personally and in her work as a physician.
